Miss Slovensko 2018 (Miss Slovakia 2018) came to an end with a grand finale that saw the crowning of  Slovakia’s next representative for Miss World. Miss Slovensko 2017 Hanka Závodná crowned her successor, Miss Slovensko 2018 Dominika Grecová in a ceremony full of beauty and excitement.

The ceremony also saw the crowning of the representative for the Miss Supranational 2018 pageant. The second runner-up of Miss Slovensko 2018, Jasmina Tatyova, was crowned Miss Supranational Slovakia 2018. She will be representing Slovakia at the is Supranational 2018 pageant later this year, where Miss Supranational 2017 Jenny Kim will pass on her crown and her reign.

18-year-old Tatyová Jasmina stands at the height of 178 cm. she works at a private dance conservatory, Dušan Nebyl in Trnava. Her hobbies, as you have guessed by now, are dancing, singing, and gymnastics.

According to Tatyová, the chance to become this year's finalist in the Miss Slovakia competition was very interesting to her. She’s a type of woman who loves challenges. She encounters various people's reactions every day. The older she gets, the less she experiences people with prejudices. She is an exotic, yet 100% Slovakian, like any woman who is born in the country and there for all of her life. Motivation from family, friends and people around her is her foundation.

A few days before the final, Miss Press was awarded after votes were cast by accredited journalists, selecting 18-year-old Jasmina Tatyova, who later became the second runner-up and also Miss Pierot 2018.

During the finale, which was broadcast live by TV JOJ, several other titles were also awarded. Radla Grendová won the title of Miss Drive and also won the title Miss Pleasant Voice later. The winners of the Miss Gosh category were voted online at www.goshcosmetics.sk. Katarína Ocovanová from Hrinová won the title, by popular demand.

While the jury decided on the winner of the title Miss Slovensko 2018, viewers of the coronation night decided the winner of the title Eva Miss Sympatia. Receiving the most votes, 21-year-old Nicole Hromkovic, from Bratislava, won the title.

For the finalists, however, the Miss Slovakia project does not end at the final evening. Several activities have been planned in advance. In May, is their visit to Liptovská Osada, and in August awaits a joint holiday in Turkey at the 5-star resort of Trendy Hotels, from Hydrotour.
