Miss World organization, through their official social media, announced the Top 10 finalists for the Beauty with a Purpose at the gala dinner held on 3rd March 2024 in Mumbai, India. One of these delegates will win the Best BWAP project at the finale. Let’s take a look at all the Top 10 finalists projects for the 71st Miss World.

Leticia Frota of Brazil won a spot in the Top 10 BWAP finalists by advocating and spreading awareness for Hansen’s Disease. Together with Morhan, Leticia has been an unstoppable force in the fight against Hanseniasis, participating in extraordinary actions and events, such as 'Leave No One Behind' at the Vatican, marking the launch of the Global Appeal 2023 campaign.

Leticia had the honor to read the Global Appeal 2023 alongside WHO Goodwill Ambassador for Hansenia Elimination, Yohei Sasakawa, and others remarkable leaders of the Catholic Church. Leticia’s dedication has been a strong testament to all her efforts in spreading awareness about the disease.

Miss Brasil organization also congratulated her in her efforts and making it to the Top 10 as they wrote, “The social project carried out by our wonderful Leticia Frota in the fight against Hanseniasis is one of the top 10 projects of the 71st Miss World, congratulations Leticia.”

The 71st Miss World will be crowned on 9th March 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India where Miss World 2021 Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The event will be live-streamed by Sonyliv India, starting at 7:30 PM local time.
