Aché Abrahams, who represented Trinidad & Tobago, emerged victorious as she won the Continental Queens of Beauty Award for Caribbean at the finale night. Aché Abrahams was the epitome of confidence and grace at the competition, winning a spot in the coveted Top 4 at the finale.
Along with her spectacular win, Ache also placed in the Top 10 at the Beauty with a Purpose, Top 10 at the Top Model Competition, Top 23 in the Talent Competition and Top 25 in the Head-to-Head Challenge as she proved her mettle throughout the competition.
Her BWAP project, The Invisible Scars, advocated to promote mental health awareness throughout Trinidad & Tobago. For Abrahams, the Beauty with a Purpose platform was a stage to talk about her invisible scars and her darkest moments. She spoke about stigma related to mental health and how people are hesitant to talk about it, making her a strong contender and a woman of substance at the competition.
As the Continental Queen from Caribbean, Abrahams will use the platform to advocate for her home country and the Caribbean region. She will also get the opportunity to travel with her Miss World sisters, including the winner and the other Continental Winners, to spread the motto of Miss World.
She also took to her official social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “Waking up today feeling so so grateful and content with every step of this journey. Wearing the sash of Miss World Caribbean is such an honour and the excitement is building up as I realize I’ll be traveling with my Miss World family, our Miss World and my MW sisters for the rest of the year around the world giving back to humanity while also creating the most incredible memories.”
The coronation night of the 71st Miss World was held tonight, i.e. 9th March 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, India where Krystyna Pyszková of Czech Republic was crowned the new Miss World.
