71st Miss World Top 40 – Axelle René of Martinique (Top Model Challenge Winner)

 

Miss World organization, through their official social media, announced the results of the Top Model Challenge as the winner won the Top 40 for the finale. The Top Model Challenge was held on 2nd March 2024 at the Aurika Mumbai Skycity.

Axelle René of Martinique won the challenge as she guaranteed a spot for herself in the Top 40 at the finals. At the Challenge, the contestants walked in two outfits in continental groups and five finalists were selected from each continent and then one continental winner was chosen from each group.

Along with Martinique, Nursena Say of Turkey won the first runner-up award (Asia and Oceania Winner) and Lesego Chombo of Botswana and Sophia Hrivnáková of Slovakia were the finalists from Africa and Europe continental groups.

Axelle is 23 years of age and stands 177 cm tall. Rene studied for a degree in Earth Sciences which is the study of the internal mechanics of the Earth. The stunner is currently working as a Content Creator for ‘Student Earth and Planetary Sciences’.  Axelle is doing really well at the Miss World competition right now and has set a strong footing in the competition.

The 71st Miss World will be crowned on 9th March 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India where Miss World 2021 Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The event will be live-streamed by Sonyliv India, starting at 7:30 PM local time.
