The finale of Miss Rhode Island 2022 was held last night where Abby Mansolillo was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of the state at Miss America 2023. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Rhode Island 2021 Leigh Payne.
Abby Mansolillo showed grace and dedication at the state pageant. She is 23 years of age from Providence. Abby’s social impact initiative is titled ‘Trust Your Gut: Be Your Own Health Advocate’ and her talent at the competition was her vocals. Abby definitely has the dignity and grace to represent her state at the national competition.
Abby Elena, on winning the state crown, took to her official social media as she wrote, “I have dreamed about representing Rhode Island since I was 14 years old. After making me wait for 8 years, God decided it was my time. I am humbled and honored beyond belief to FINALLY ANNOUNCE that I am YOUR Miss Rhode Island 2022!”
“What a dream come true. I have many, many thank you’s to deliver but for now, thank you, thank you, thank you, to all of my guardian angels (on earth and in heaven). 8 years, and I wouldn’t trade this one moment for any of them”, she added.
Congratulations to the newly crowned queen.
