19 years old Alexis Selena Railsback was crowned Miss Kansas USA 2015 and will now represent Kansas at the Miss USA 2015 pageant. Alexis was born in Overland Park, Kansas and has a fraternal twin sister named Ashley, and a 17-year-old brother named Jordan. She graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 2014. Currently she is a freshman at Johnson County Community College where she plans to obtain her Associate of Arts Degree.

Alexis plans to graduate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and further plans to attend Cosmetology school to become a licensed makeup artist. Her dream job is to travel the world working as a professional makeup artist in the entertainment and fashion industry and to create her own line of cosmetics one day. As Alexia is the third generation Mexican-American from her mother and of German descent from her father, she believes that having a biracial upbringing has taught her to appreciate diversity and other cultures.

Alexis has a smile and possesses the beauty that loves the camera so much that in all her pictures, she manages to look breathtakingly amazing. Alexis while sharing some fun facts about herself stated that she has a sister named Ashley who is older than her by two minutes but shorter than her by six inches. Alexis Selena Railsback got her name after Joan Collins' character Alexis Carrington on the soap opera "Dynasty," and the Mexican-American singer Selena. She was born with only one dimple, which is on her right cheek.
