Ana Carolina Ugarte (full name Ana Carolina Ugarte Pelayo Campos) will be Venezuela's representative in the 67th edition of the Miss World pageant to be held on November 18 at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. While her coronation as Miss Venezuela World 2017 is scheduled for mid-October, she has been appointed as such by Miss Venezuela organization.
She is currently dedicating full time to her preparation, given the short time she got to prepare for the international pageant. Ana is receiving oratory, English, styling, makeup and physical training, to be fully prepared before she goes to China.
As per the official statement of Miss Venezuela organization "We are working hard on the preparation of Ana Carolina. She was selected through a rigorous casting where in addition to beauty other qualities were considered such as social work developed on a personal basis, among other aspects. Remember that for the Miss World Organization is very important not only the beauty but the volunteer work that the candidates do."
Ana is 25 years old, stands tall at 180 cm and has almost perfect body measurements of 90-61-90. She competed in Miss Venezuela 2013 representing her native province Monagas. Though she was not placed in Top 10 in the finale of Miss Venezuela 2013, she won the special award for Miss Elegance. In last four years, she has prepared herself for a better performance and succeeding in becoming Venezuela's representative in the most popular international pageant.
