Miss Ecuador 2020, the 70th edition of the national pageant, will witness twenty-two delegates who will vie for the chance to represent Ecuador in Miss Universe 2020. The pageant will also a representative to Miss International (usually the first runner-up).

While the competition is yet to begin due to the lockdown all over the world with the spread of coronavirus, there are a few contestants who have caught the attention early on and one of them is Andrea Quito Torres, rising as a mega favourite for Miss Universe Ecuador 2020 crown.

Already a pageant veteran in Ecuador, Andrea shows the strongest chances to win the right to represent Ecuador in Miss Universe this year. The stunning beauty has put a strong footing in Miss Ecuador 2020 ever since the competition began a few weeks ago. She is a confident, gracious and intelligent woman who wishes to make a difference in the society with her unprecedented efforts.

Andrea’s pageant journey began in 2017 as she participated in Reina de Macas 2017. She also was a part of Morona Santiago 2017 where she was adjudged the first runner-up at the end of the event finale. After that, Andrea took a break for a year and went to become a delegate of Miss World Ecuador 2019. At Miss World Ecuador 2019, Andrea performed with absolute sincerity and dedication, becoming a strong contender, performing beautifully at all the events and competitions. As the finale night was held, she was adjudged the first runner-up at the end of the event finale.

Andrea is 27 years of age and hails from Macas city. She is a dentist professionally and also does modeling work. Her social work also includes rescuing animals as she is an ardent animal lover. With her potential, Andrea will surely be an ideal representative of Ecuador in Miss Universe and maybe win the first ever Miss Universe crown for her country.
