The reigning Miss Grand International, Anea Garcia who was crowned as the ambassador of peace and goodwill in October 2015, is currently in Cranston, Rhode Island, her hometown, for her mandatory class at University. She will depart back to Bangkok on 29’ January 2016 after finishing her assignments.

Anea Garcia is a second semester sophomore at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island on a full tuition grant through the International Leadership Award and is pursuing a double major in Legal Studies and Philosophy. Anea wishes to become a criminal attorney in the future, and hence is quite equipped for her education.

The Dominican Republic beauty, who is the first titleholder from her country, has meanwhile sent her well wishes and consolations for the Indonesia and Turkey victims. Anea is reportedly extremely saddened to hear that the innocent people are affected by several suicide bombs in Jarkarta, Indonesia and Istanbul, Turkey.

The organization of Miss Grand International has expressed its undying sympathy to the family of the victims, and has promised to proffer certain charitable aids at the same. The organization is waiting for their spokesperson, Anea Garcia to return from Cranston, subsequent to which she can fulfill her duties as Miss Grand International in sending aid to the victims of Indonesia and Turkey, and also promoting the motto of “Stop the War”.
