Alisha Cowie, the 19-year-old model from Newcastle upon Tyne, is representing England in ongoing Miss World 2018 and that too with grim sincerity and determination. She is a professional model who stands 174 cm tall. Being Angelopedia’s pick as one of the favourite delegates for the coveted crown, Alisha has definitely proven that she is in it to win it!
Alisha completed a health and social diploma and currently, she is studying for a degree in Crime Scene Investigation. Interestingly, she wishes to be a detective at the same time she is working as a model. Alisha loves listening to acoustic music and also read crime-related books.
Cowie was crowned Miss England 2018 and also won the title of Most Beautiful Hair at the finale which was held on 4th September 2018 at Kelham Hall. She said, on her delegation, “Hopefully I will join the police force and work in crime scene investigation, but I’ll definitely continue my part-time work. While I’m at university I will also do my best to do as much as I can for the Miss Newcastle organisation and the Chronicle Sunshine Fund.”
