From the country of Vietnam, this fair maiden is competing for the title of Miss World 2018. She is none other than Tran Tieu Vy, Miss World Vietnam 2018. She is just 18 years of age and one of the youngest delegates for the crown. Tran has a huge fan following wishing for her win. She is one of Angelopedia’s Top 20 delegates competing for the international title.

Standing tall at a height of 174 cm, Tran Tieu is a university student studying at the University of Technology and Education. She is currently in her first year. Tran Tieu is a very simple and down-to-earth person who says that the most memorable day of hers was the day she passed her entrance exam of the University. Her joy denotes how hardworking and dedicated towards her goals.

During her free time, Tran Tieu likes to cook traditional Vietnamese dishes, travelling and exploring new places and cultures. She is also very fond of playing the guitar and is quite good at it! Tran Tieu’s favourite movie is ‘Coco’ produced by Pixar.

This Vietnamese beauty has her personal motto which best describes her, “If you believe, you can achieve.” This motto is something she relates to very easily, because once she sets a goal, her belief, hardworking and determination to achieve always comes into fruition and provides her success.

Tran Tieu is one of Angelopedia’s favourite because even though she is one of the youngest contestants competing for the crown, she is a tough competition. Tran Tieu has worked very hard to attain the title of a national winner and her intelligence and beauty will take her very far into the competition.

Tran Tieu was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2018 at the conclusion of its coronation event which was held on 16th September 2018 at Phu Tho Stadium. She was crowned by Miss World Vietnam 2017 Do My Linh who represented Vietnam in Miss World 2017 but was able to secure a position in the Top 40 during the finale, but unfortunately, she could not go any further. Vietnam is yet to win the coveted crown, so here’s to wishing that Tran Tieu makes history by bring the crown home for her nation.
