20 year old Anri Okane, former Miss Universe Osaka and the third runner-up of Miss Universe Japan 2014 has been appointed to represent Japan at the Miss United Continents 2015 pageant, to be held in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Standing tall at a towering height of 181 cm, Anri is a university student who is also a part time model.
Okane is not someone who is new to the pageant, she has her fair bit of experience at the beauty pageants and is familiar with the concepts and with the glamour of pageants. She is tall, confident and her experience of beauty pageants reflect in her personality. She was on e of the favourites in the Miss Universe Japan 2014 pageant, however couldn’t make it to the crown. Though she did end up as the third runner-up. Okane, who has been selected as a representative of Japan for the Miss United Continents 2015, has already prepared on what she will be wearing during the national costume round. Okane is planning on wearing a national costume, that is a fusion of kimono and modern mermaid evening dress.
