Miss Purwanchal 2019 held its coronation night in December last year where Riju Bhattarai was crowned the new Purwanchal queen. But since she is just 18 years of age, unfortunately, she wont able to compete in Miss Nepal 2020 as the age requirement of the national pageant is 19 to 24 years of age.

Therefore, most likely, Anzel Rai who was adjudged the first runner-up at the competition will become the delegate from Purwanchal to qualify as the delegate of Miss Nepal 2020. Anzel is currently studying B.Tech. at C.C.T. Hattisar, Dharan, on her way of becoming an engineer. She is a beauty with brains and will definitely use it to her advantage if she gets the chance to participate in Miss Nepal 2020.

On being adjudged first runner-up, Anzel also took to her official social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “Surreal moment. Everything was surreal. So I must be so much blessed to share that moment with amazing people,to be the family of such prestigious platform Miss Purvanchal 2019. So, from my deep down of heart I thanks to each and every people who where the reason behind it. All my team of Miss Purvanchal,my family,my friends and specially my fellow contestants. So once again Thank you so much everyone for all the support and blessings to succeed this beautiful journey.”

With a core of faith and determination, Anzel wears confidence on her sleeve. She describes herself as a fun-loving girl who enjoys dancing, modelling and exploring new places. Following her dreams, she aspires to be a runway model. As a public figure, she also maintains a systematic way in which she presents herself and professionally handles all her engagements.

Anzel could be a strong contender at the national contest if she decides to participate this year. What are your views?
