Binibining Pilipinas pageant is best known for grooming each of its contestants in a way that no matter who wins, each contestant comes out as a winner. The pageant is here with its 2017 edition and has already kicked off with the 40 finalists beginning their journey. The Bb Pilipinas Organisation is taking the competition a notch up this year, as there is a change in the format of the pageant. According to the Organisation, this year’s edition of the Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant will give bigger score to the interview portion, a.ka. the Q&A.

The gorgeous beauties of Bb Pilipinas 2017 recently visited PAWS (Philippine Animal Welfare Society) in Quezon city. All dressed in blue tank top and denim, took off to the organisation to encourage everyone to be an advocate and volunteer to promote humane treatment for all animals. As a “beauty with a cause” purpose, the girls spent time with the pets, fed them, played with them and all in all had an amazing day.

The 40 candidates also had a fun walk around the Araneta Center recently and visited the newly opened Araneta Center Bus Port across Ali Mall. The Araneta Center Bus Port is launched just in time for Holy Week and even summer break when many are expected to head to the provinces to be with their families. This ultra-modern facility is located at the ground level of Manhattan Heights, Gen. Romulo Avenue, Araneta Center, Quezon City.

To help out the girls this year with their Q&A, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach stepped up to share some tips with the girls. Confidence and Conviction were the reasons Pia Wurtzbach stood out from the rest of the Miss Universe 2015 candidates to take home the crown. Some of the girls this year are being trained by Aces and Queens’ Nad Bronce. The girls were fortunate enough to attend a session with Queen P where the beauty gave tips on answering the Q&A.
