The coronation ceremony for the 14th edition of Beauty of Africa International Pageant, i.e., Beauty of Africa International Pageant 2021 was held on 11th June 2021 at the Dr. Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State where Mebine Ayibapreye Gabriella was crowned as the new queen at the end of the event finale.
Mebine Ayibapreye Gabriella is 22-years-old and stands 185 cm tall. She is a graduate of English and literary studies from the Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island. She is excited about representing Nigeria at an international competition.
The beauty of Africa International 2021 Mebine Ayibapreye Gabriella’s court includes:
First runner-up: Ogechi Gabriel
Second runner-up: Toluwalope Olarewaju
Third runner-up: Abigail Effiong Mkperedem
Fourth runner-up: Egunyinka Oluwatosin Alexandra
The top three winners will represent Nigeria at the pageants International franchised competitions like Miss International, Miss Globe, and Miss Supranational respectively, which are yet to be announced.
After winning the competition, Mebine took to her social media to share her happiness and mentioned, "I am happy to announce that today marks the beginning of my journey as the "14th" Beauty of Africa International pageant Queen. Today I begin my reign with God, and by his grace, I will accomplish all I have to do. " She is passionate about beauty pageants and winning Beauty of Africa International 2021, comes as a dream for Mebine and her purpose of being a queen.
The diva mentioned, "A dream that turned into my reality, an opportunity for me to project my voice to the world and stand up to represent every girl child, and woman out there. I hope to leave a positive impact for the next Queens and girls all over the world to emulate. " The beauty queen wants to use the platform to partner with the Beauty of Africa International Pageant organization, government, non-Governmental organizations, and any other meaningful charity organizations in Nigeria to create awareness of why women and children should be valued all over the world.
Mebine is a strong, opinionated, and confident woman who is creative and tends to showcase her creativity by writing and making music. In her introduction video, she mentioned that she realized that she has a keen need to help others and that’s how she started working to give back to society and encouraging people, especially young adults, that their dreams can turn into reality if given effort and dedication.
The diva is a determined woman who has started to prepare for the competition and is aiming to make the best use of the platform given to her to make the world a better place and create opportunities for others. Mebine’s preferred beauty pageant is Miss Supranational 2021, but the organization is yet to announce the beauty pageant where Mebine Ayibapreye Gabriella will represent Nigeria.
