Meet Binibini 30, Crescent Samaco, competing for the title of Binibining Pilipinas 2016. She is a Flight Attendant of a big airline company for its trans-pacific routes. Crescent is an alumna of Miriam College from pre-school all through college with the degree AB International Studies major in International Politics minor in Peace Studies.

She was born and raised in Quezon City and has and has one older brother and three younger sisters. Currently the gorgeous lady is working as a Cabin Crew. According to Crescent’s mom, Virginia, Crescent has always been their pride. “She was the sole Magna Cum Laude Awardee of Miriam College batch 2012 and received the highest distinction award, Sister Miriam Thornton Award and the following prestigious awards: the ADSA Meritorious Leadership Award and Pax Christi Meritorious Leadership Performance Award .”

Crescent was awarded with a Diplomatic Award in the 2011 Model United Nations held in San Francisco, California. According to her mother, Crescent is a loving daughter and a loving sister to her siblings. Crescent had a bucket list which she wanted to fulfil. Graduating with highest honours, becoming a professional model, and a flight attended, were all a part of her bucket list.

“It was really funny because all of us, including Crescent, were not expecting that she would be chosen as one of the official candidates of Bb. Pilipinas. We must admit that she doesn’t possess a pretty face. In fact, she’s the ugliest among her sisters and she knows it. That’s why she’s intimidated knowing for a fact that this is her first time ever to join a beauty pageant.”, says Crescent’s mother.

“I remember Crescent would always tell me when she was a little kid that someday I’ll be proud of her. Yes, indeed! With all her achievements, I can proudly say that Crescent is the definition of a woman leader with confidence, beauty and brains.”, concludes her mother.
