Binibining Pilipinas 2015 contestants are in their full spin of making it to the throne of the Queen. In their eventful schedule of preliminary activities recently, the binibinis were seen volunteering for another event of Habitat for Humanity, Philippines. After giving a helping hand to HFHP a week ago in painting houses in Navotas, the Bb Pilipinas candidates went to another HFHP site on February, 28’ 2015. This time the candidates volunteered for the “Women Build” event of HFHP. Serving as women construction workers, the candidates showed that anything a man can do, women can do just as well.

Women Build is a program ungder Habitat for Humanity, which provides opportunity to women who want to learn construction skills and build homes and communities. The motive of the program is to bring together women from all walks of life to address the housing crisis faced by millions of women and children worldwide. The Binibining Pilipinas 2015 contestants were accompanied to the event by two Binibining Pilipinas alums, Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran and Bb Pilipinas International 1974 Erlynn Campos. The two veteran beauties have been an active part of the Habitat for Humanity, Philippines, with Erlynn beign a part of the National Board of trustees, Philippines.

The “Women Build” program of HFHP was held in Bisterville 4 Baranggay Culiat, Quezon City, where the binibinis devotedly participated and were involved in sawing, shoveling, and cementing the houses that were being built.This was the second time that the binibini beauties traded their voguish heels to rubber shoes, and prestigious crowns to working hats, and all for a noble cause. These beauties are truly abiding by the true connotation of true meaning of beauty, i.e. beauty is both in and out!!
