Binibining Pilipinas 2018 all day final screenings to select the Top 40 finalists has kicked off with the arrival of the candidates. It started at 1 pm in Kia Theater, Quezon City, Philippines. Among the early arrivals was Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray, Ramona Yamat (Aces & Queen camp), Janet Sturm, Shaira Cudia (Kagandahang Flores), Lauren Artajos (Aces & Queen camp), Shanon Stampton (Kagandahang Flores) among others.
This year the number of applicants is little less than the previous year and it is highly anticipated that unlike last year, the screening process will wind up early. Last year the procedure went on until the wee hours of the morning.
Before the screenings, one of the most famous personalities in this race for Binibining Pilipinas 2018, Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Elisa Magnayon Gray shared her thoughts on Instagram –
It is also expected that some of the former beauty queens will be seen at the final screenings venue to root for their camp sisters.
The girls have to go through a strict selection procedure that includes minimum height requirement, background check, nationality, legal requirements etc. They will also go through an arduous Question and Answer round as well.
