The coronation night will witness various Filipina beauties vying for the prestigious crown and the winners of this pageant will get a direct entry to International beauty pageants such as Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Supranational, and Miss Intercontinental, and other minor global pageants as the official representatives. This is the sole reason that this pageant is highly recognized in the Philippines.
Before the journey embarks, Binibining Pilipinas Organization unveiled the Top 40 delegates who will add on the grace to the gala evening by their performances. Another name that hits the list with pride is Ilene Astrid de Vera, the Filipina beauty who has been assigned Binibini No. 19.
The 22-year-old gleaming beauty who stands 172 cm tall belongs to Cebu Islands, Philippines. She is a true-blue Cebuana who now resides in Manila, Philippines. She obtained a degree in Mass Communication and joined the corporate world right after her graduation. She got her first job as a marketing associate in the year 2016.
The beauty is no stranger to the beauty pageant world as a year after working as a marketing associate, she joined her first national pageant Mutya ng Pilipinas in the year 2017 where she was awarded the coveted title of Mutya ng Pilipinas –Asia Pacific International 2017 and later in the international pageant, she secured the position of fourth runner-up at the conclusion. Apart from this, she won the coveted title of Miss UP Cebu 2015.
