Maria Andrea Abesamis aka Aya Abesamis is one of the Top finalists of the Binibining Pilipinas 2019 pageant who has locked her spot safely and is going to compete in the finale of the 56th edition of Binibining Pilipinas pageant. The finale of this exuberant pageant is going to take place on Sunday, 09th June 2019 at Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. The pageant selects winners and sends off representatives to international beauty pageants like - Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Supranational, and Miss Intercontinental, and other minor global pageants.
Aya is the daughter of famous Filipina beauty queen Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1984 and Miss Universe 1984 3rd runner-up Desiree Verdadero Abesamis. She grew up in the house of a former beauty queen and really looked up to her mother both as a woman and a beauty queen. She definitely feels the pressure to be the daughter of such a famous Filipino personality as this sets a very high standard for her which makes the 26-year-old feel obligated to be nothing but the best and be second to none.
