At the Philippine Embassy in Beijing, China, Binibini 20 Julia Eugene Saubier delivered a powerful speech titled “T’nalak: let the fabric of our nation be woven by dreamers!” and proved why she deserved to represent herself and Philippines at such a powerful platform. In the middle of the ongoing national pageant of Binibining Pilipinas 2019, Julia made sure she completed her obligations towards her education.
Julia made it to Beijing to fulfill some academic requirements for her Masteral Degree in Asian Studies at the Peking University. With all the things she was doing, Julia was invited by the Philippine Embassy where she mesmerized everyone with her powerful words.

From dislocated her shoulder, getting a full body rash after a trip to Bali, running out of money (twice), all the while simultaneously writing her master's thesis to managing family medical emergencies, and pursuing a dream that she had for a long time, Julia has done it all. She also understands how much beauty pageants are taken seriously in her country as Filipinos see these women as role models and as the epitome of an empowered Filipina woman.

Julia is for sure ready to give a strong competition to the other ladies at Binibining Pilipinas 2019 and it will be interesting to see how she uses her eloquence, sincerity and the will to win the national crown and represent Philippines at an international level.
