The 58th Binibining Pilipinas competition is all set to be held in July 2022 where divas from all over Philippines will compete for the four titles at stake - Binibining Pilipinas International, Globe, Intercontinental, and Grand International. The Binibining Pilipinas organization will soon begin the application and screening process for the selection of this year’s batch.

While the country prepares for one of the most awaited national pageants, few names have begun to circle around the industry as some of the most anticipated delegates this year. One such diva, who is now all set to try her luck at the Binibining Pilipinas stage this year, is Ira Patricia Malaluan.

The stunning diva is a model by profession working under the Reco Modelling Agency in Manila. She was also the member of the Kagandahang Flores Training Camp and a former cabin crew of Philippine Airline Express. She is an associate with ‘A Thousand Journey Project’, working with providing thousands of hopes and smiles to those in need to overcome the world. Ira is also an entrepreneur and own a pet supply chain called ‘WerePawse’, selling affordable pet supplies nationwide.

Not new to pageantry, Ira has bagged several titles over the past few years. She was crowned Miss Batangas State University 2018, Southern Tagalog Regional Association of State Universities and Colleges Festival Queen – Region IV 2018. She also places as the first runner-up at Miss Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges 2018 and as first runner-up at the Binibining Niyogyugan-Quezon Province 2019 regional pageant.

The apprising diva is experienced, confident and can prove to be a strong contender for the national title as she is preparing for the upcoming pageant. The screening of the applicants will start in the month of March, whereas the Opening salvo of the pageant will be a grand Flores de Mayo parade at Araneta City this May followed by other pre-pageant activities and charity events.
