Binibining Pilipinas 2022, the 58th edition of the national pageant, is all set to be held soon where stunning divas from all over the country will compete to be crowned as Philippines’ representatives to the upcoming editions of Miss International, Miss Grand International, Miss Intercontinental and Miss Globe will be crowned.

A few days after the organization announced the official Top 40 delegates, the organization, a few hours ago, announced the withdrawal of three candidates Gwendoline Meliz Soriano, Ma. Francesca Taruc and Iman Franchesca Cristal. “We thank them for their time and wish them well in their future plans,” they added.

Given this development, Binibining Pilipinas also replaced them as they welcomed the new additions Joanna Marie Rabe, Patricia Ann Tan and Isabel David, to the latest batch of Binibinis. The updated batch will now be preparing for the grand Santacruzan of the candidates on 14th May. Carrying the theme #BinibiniSisterhood, the 40 candidates will compete for the opportunity to represent the Philippines internationally.

The Opening salvo of the pageant will be a grand Flores de Mayo parade at Araneta City this May followed by other pre-pageant activities and charity events. The coronation ceremony for Binibining Pilipinas 2022 is set in July 2022. The reigning queens, Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2021 Samantha Panlilio, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye Obenita and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne will crown their successors.
