Former beauty queen, Miss Universe Paraguay 2017 Ariela Machado has recently taken over the license for the franchise of the national pageant Miss Universe Paraguay, which was formerly under the Promociones Gloria agency, after being appointed as the new National Director for the competition as well.

Ariela is currently a successful Paraguayan businesswoman and model. She has also represented Paraguay at the international Miss Universe platform in 2017 and is definitely one of the best choices to lead the organization and aspiring beauty queens.

The newly appointed team also thanked the passing team along with Gloria Limpias, who, for so many years, had worked hard and carried several national and international pageants including Miss Universe and Miss World. During the official conference, the diva also announced that the organization will also open a school for ‘Misses’ with excellent national and international teachers, aimed at those women who wish to prepare for the great international gala.

Also present at the preentation were Carsten Pfau; Executive Director of AgriTerra, Tatiana Limpias; General Manager of Promociones Gloria and Salvador Mas. The reigning Miss Universe Paraguay is Nadia Ferreira, who will soon be crowning her successor as the representative of the country for the upcoming Miss Universe 2022 pageant.

Nadia Ferreira represented the country at Miss Universe 2021 and was crowned as the first runner-up after a successful and highly appreciated journey at the competition and giving her country the highest placement at Miss Universe in history.
