The 57th edition of Binibining Pilipinas will be held soon where the thirty-nine delegates will compete for the national titles and an opportunity to represent the Philippines at various international pageants. The competition was initially scheduled for 26th April 2020 but was postponed to 31st May 2020 because the situations were not ideal to host a competition.

With five crowns to win at Binibining Pilipinas 2020; Binibini No. 13, Samantha Mae Bernardo is vying for the Binibining Pilipinas Grand 2020 title as she wants to be the first representative of the Philippines to win the crown. She recently shared on her social media stories that she is aiming to be the first Filipina to win the Miss Grand International crown.

Samantha is 26-years-old and stands 173 cm tall and has graduated from the Palawan State University and obtained a degree in International Hospitality and Management. She has worked as a Hotelier and as a Makeup and Personality Development Instructor. She is now a part of part of Sun Life Philippines as a Licensed Financial Advisor and Future Unit Manager. She mentioned, “My dream is to help more people to Live Brighter Future and help more Filipinos achieve their financial goals!”

The stunner is a staunch supporter of culture and arts in the Philippines. She has been a competitive Rhythmic Gymnast for about 9 years now and is also Former President of Singing Palawan Dance troupe that showcases Philippine Tradition through Folk dances in the country and abroad.

The diva is not new to the world of beauty pageant as she held the title of Mutya ng Palawan Tourism 2013. She was also placed at top 13 in Miss World Philippines 2013. Samantha was also a part of 55th edition of Binibining Pilipinas i.e., Binibining Pilipinas 2018 and was successfully crowned as the second runner-up. The determined diva went back to win the national pageant of Binibining Pilipinas 2019 and was again crowned as the second runner-up. It will be interesting to see her performing with other finalists and what new she brings to the table at Binibining Pilipinas 2020.

Samantha is also an entrepreneur at Front row International which is a leading business company in the Philippines. Apart from her professional work, she is also involved in philanthropy as she is an active volunteer at Philippine Movement Against Malaria organisation through which she tries to create awareness regarding the viral disease and its prevention in the Filipino community. Samantha Bernardo was recognized by Best Magazine as one of the Philippine Most Empowered Woman 2019 and Philippine Elite Belle 2019 of Hollywood Magazine for her tremendous and dedicated work for Salinlahi Malaria Benefit Concert.  In her free time, Samantha likes to play sports, dance, and meditate.

The diva wants to talk about cyber bullying and raise awareness as she personally experienced with a lot of cyber-bullying when she was crowned as the second runner-up at Binibining Pilipinas 2019 again. Samantha’s positive approach towards her cyber-bullying is an inspiration and motivation to everyone who is dealing with a tough time. She is also a supporter of self-love advocacy and urge people, especially young women to be comfortable in the way they are.

Samantha’s beauty is undeniably arresting as she has a chiselled face structure and mesmerising eyes. Her appearance is endearing and at the same time, she can manage to look bold and fierce on the camera. She is charismatic and confident both on and off the camera. And we feel she can be a tough competition for the delegates competing for the coveted crown.
