The word mesmerizing doesn’t even come close to describing the Binibining Pilipinas 2018 Talent Round performances. On 10th February 2018 at the Farmers Plaza Activity, 15 out of the total 40 candidates participated in the talent competition and they were nothing less than ordinary. They engaged all with their specialities and kept them hooked till the end.

The Talent competition was hosted by none other than the Bb. Pilipinas 2017 Supranational Chanel Olive Tomas and Bb. Grand International 2017 and Miss Grand International 2017 2nd runner-up Elizabeth Clenci.

The show started with the 40 girls giving their introductions. And they danced together adorning pink t-shirts and denim. Then the hosts of the show introduced the judges of the show. And then finally, the performances started.

All the girls were extraordinary but of course, there are always the best of the lot. So, without much ado, have a look at Binibining Pilipinas Talent Competition Top 5 –

Binibini 8 Shane Quintana Tormes

You could not have missed Shane’s sizzling red gown or her angelic voice even if you wanted. She gave a rendition of Aretha Franklin's Natural Woman and we have to say, her voice and confidence were breathtaking. The hosts also could not hold themselves from complimenting her for her beautiful attire and melodic voice.

Binibini 14 Samantha Bernardo

Samantha Bernando is a force of talent and flair. Her performance was no doubt the most unique out of the lot. She gave an enticing dance performance and showed her skills with props that we have to say are impeccable. Using scotch glasses and also Hula-hoop as her props, she played with them like they were a part of their hands itself. Her flexibility is another story altogether. Samantha really outdid herself in the competition.

Binibini 20 Catriona Gray

Everyone’s darling Catriona took the stage and owned it. Looking like a dream in a white silk gown, she addressed all in her native language and urged them to join her while she sang Adele’s ‘Fire in the Rain’ on stage. Her vocals were on-point and her feelings while singing seemed true to heart. Catriona is really the true queen and she definitely knows how to rule her kingdom with her sweetness and talent.

Binibini 28 Angelica Corbe

She came and set the stage on fire with her sizzling Belly dance. You can never go wrong with belly dancing and of course with a talent like Angelica Corbe ought you to be always right. Angelica created an aura of happiness when she came on stage. Lovely that she is, we now know she is also super talented with her dance moves.

Binibini 36 Loren Mar Artajos

Loren was a bundle of surprise in this round. A dark horse of this competition, Loren is quite a charmer and why not, when you can sing like that. She chose a high pitch song and owned it till the end. Definitely one of our favourites in this round, Lora has done an excellent job for herself.
