Alice Rachel Arlanch opens the Carnevale di Viareggio

Sunday 11 February, at 3 pm the triple shot of the cannon started the Carnevale di Viareggio. The sun was the guest of honour of this third course that saw masked avenues of Viareggio, filled with the public to watch the parade of floats.

People stormed the streets in staggering amounts, and the organizers think that it was 'the record Sunday', if early estimates are believed, the collection might have reached 640 thousand euro, compared to the 450 thousand budgeted for this day.

To open the dances of this third course was Alice Rachel Arlanch, Miss Italy in office, after the traditional three cannon shots, and the announcement of the start of the parade of the nine works of first-class, five-second category, nine masked group and nine isolated masks.

Born 22 years ago in Rovereto (TN), Alice Rachele graduated from the classical high school, studied law at the University of Trento, majoring in 'International law and trans-European'. She aspires to become a lawyer. Brilliant, creative, enterprising, green eyes and extraordinary smile, she has been volunteering for years of the Fire Brigade.

Beauty and well-being with Equilibria at 2.00 pm in the Ivan Graziani Theater present her new line, Make up green Love's Nature with the participation of Miss Italia 2017 Alice Rachele Arlanch and Miss Equilibria 2017 Linda Pani.

The parade was also attended by a delegation of the Nice Carnival. With the French Riviera Viareggio has a fruitful cooperation for many years. They have been collaborating with the Côte d'Azur Viareggio for many years. On 24 February a delegation of Viareggio, Burlamacco and Ondina, will participate in the Course Masked in Nice.

The Carnival of Viareggio has always been the bearer of messages of peace and solidarity. The third Masked Tomorrow Course is dedicated to AISM the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association which is 50 years old. Together with the volunteers, who sensitize the public on the activities of the association, national president Angela Martino and Andrea Cupini were also present, the referent of the Versilian group. A representation of Amnesty International, the movement that has been fighting for human rights, participates in the parade tomorrow.
