Brazil’s noteworthy performance in the major international pageants in 2017 is commendable. Not only did Francielly Ouriques emerge out as our new Miss Asia Pacific International 2017, the other contestants rocked their respective pageants with a memorable performance.

Francielly Ouriques in Miss Aisa Pacific International 2017 – Winner
Francielly Ouriques, the 25-year-old beauty from Sao Jose, Santa Catarina, won the coveted title of Miss Asia Pacific International 2017. It was all the more special as she was the first time winner from Brazil. Standing tall at 175 cm, Francielly works as a professional model at L'equip Model Floripa.
Francielly proved her worth right at the start of the competition; she won the swimsuit round, Miss Sheridan Palawan round and the Best Festival Costume. She was also a runner-up in two rounds - Best in National Costume and Miss Zanea Shoes. With her positive attitude and that winning smile, Francielly captured everyone’s heart in the competition.
Monalysa Alcântara in Miss Universe 2017 – Top 10
Monalysa Alcântara, the 18-year-old Brazilian model was crowned Miss Brazil on 19th August 2017. She represented her beautiful country in Miss World 2018 and was placed in the Top 10. From Teresina, Monalysa entered the world of modelling at the age of fourteen.
She is currently studying Business administration and Fashion. Monalysa made a name for herself in the pageant world by becoming the first woman from Piauí and third Afro-Brazilian to win the Miss Brazil crown in 2017. Her unique features were definitely her USP at the Miss Universe pageant last year.
Caroline Venturini in Miss Grand International 2017 – Top 20
Caroline Venturini, the 21-year-old diva from the southern beach town of Tramandaí, represented her country in Miss Grand International 2017 and placed herself in Top 20. Standing 171 cm tall, Caroline is currently pursuing Psychology and speaks fluent English.
Caroline won Miss Rio Grande do Sul World in 2016 and placed 7th at Miss Brazil World 2016. She is an experienced pageant competitor and definitely a force to be reckoned with in the pageant world. With her beautiful dimpled smile, even though Caroline did not win the competition, she definitely won numerous hearts in Miss Grand International 2017.
Thayná Lima in Miss Supranational 2017 – Top 25
Thayná Lima, the 21-year-old model, represented her country in Miss Supranational 2017 and was placed in the Top 25. Standing tall at 176 cm, Thayná is currently a Veterinary student.
After a period of uncertainty whether or not Brazil would have a representation in Miss Supranational 2017, Thayná rocked the competition with her slender figure and an infectious personality. There is no denying the fact that Thayná was one of the best looking participants in Miss Supranational 2017.
