Despite of having maximum winners, runner ups, finalists and semi-finalists at Miss Universe, USA has continued a dry run at Miss Earth since its inception. Every year, USA sends a gorgeous face and charismatic personality to Miss Earth, but fails to grab the crown. Last year, Andrea Michelle Neu was titled as Miss Earth Air in the pageant, a position equivalent to 1st Runner Up. Prior in joining Miss Earth United States, Andrea had already graced the Miss International beauty pageant in 2013, wherein she was a Top 15 semi-finalist. Being the first American woman to hold two national beauty titles, Andrea was considered as a tough crown contender by many pageant experts all over the world. Nevertheless, she ended up reaching so close to the crown.

This year Brittany Payne is representing USA at Austria, coming December. Brittany is not a new face to pageant fanatics, having competed in 16 beauty pageants, and always ending up as runner-up, the 23-year-old didn't get disheartened and remained strong to her motto, "If this opportunity is meant for me, it will not pass me by." Last July, Brittany Payne’s fortitude finally paid off when she was crowned Miss Earth USA 2015 in Ontario. She believes: "It's very different than Miss Universe or Miss America, it's very eco-friendly and about environmental protection. We don't win money and we don't win a car." Considering her caliber, devotion and dedication towards the advocacy of Miss Earth pageant, which works for Mother Earth, with the motto, “Beauty with a Cause”, Brittany is a total game stealer.  Since the day she was adjudged as Miss Earth USA, she has solemnly determined her knowledge on everything from pest control to the greenhouse project.

"They want someone that's the whole package," said Payne. "As Miss Earth, our motto will be 'Beauty For a Cause,' so we are not just a pretty face. We will be planting trees in the dirt, and then 15 minutes later, they are going to want you in heels and a dress with makeup done for an interview."

Payne loves riding the family's horses and playing soccer. The scintillating beauty once considered herself a tomboy. Payne participated in her first pageant when she competed in Miss Tehachapi Junior Miss. Certainly, she has learned a lot along the way. She opines: "I have never had a coach, I've done this all on my own, and I have worked really hard. I have grown and come a long way, which I am very thankful for."

She was also titled as first Runner Up in Miss California, United States. Having missed various crowns, just by an inch, Brittany says: "Each loss was a gain because I would get a phone call or an email saying, 'We want you for this job'". She managed to get ample of modeling and film offers through pageantry.

Standing lean, 5-foot, 10-inch tall, Brittany is chiseled by spending several hours every day in the gym and keeping a vegetarian diet.

With the theme of climate control, Miss Earth 2015 is certainly going to witness a grand affair. She affirms: "It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I look forward to the challenge."
