The magnificent finale of Miss World Ecuador 2015 concluded with the crowning of Camila Marañon from Manabi as the winner held at Centro de Convenciones Simon Bolivar, Guayaquil, Guayas on August 1’ 2015. She will now represent Ecuador at the Miss World 2015 pageant. Camila succeeds to Virginia Limongi, Miss World Ecuador 2014 and represented Ecuador in last year edition of Miss World held in London, England. Constanza Baez, second runner-up at Miss Universe 2013 was one of the judges.
This was the third edition of Miss World Ecuador pageant. The first Miss World Ecuador Pageant was held on July 4, 2013. The highest placement of the country at Miss World was in 1986 with Alicia Gisela Cucalón Macías when she became the 6th runner-up. In addition to winning the crown, Camila also won 3 sub awards of Miss Photogenic, Esplandor and Best National Costume at the contest.
