Canada’s delegates in different beauty pageants have always been a delight to know and admire. This year Canada sent delegates to all the major pageants and gave stellar performances during the finale. Let us take a look at how the delegates performed in their respective pageants -
Miss Universe Canada 2018 Marta Stepien
This year, Miss Universe Canada’s conclusion saw the crowning of Marta Stepien as their new queen. Marta then went on to represent Canada in Miss Universe 2018 and performed beautifully. The 24-year-old Canadian beauty was able to win much heart on the night of the finale and as a result, even though she could not win the crown, was able to secure a position amongst the Top 10 finalists on 17th December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Miss World Canada 2018 Hanna Begovic
Hanna was the beautiful contestant from Canada who was crowned Miss World Canada 2018. This crown earned her the ticket to represent her nation in Miss World 2018 which was held on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China. Even though she could not win the coveted crown, Hanna’s stellar performance made her the 2nd runner-up in the Talent competition. She has a very bright future and given her drive to accomplish she will be unstoppable.
Miss Earth Canada 2018 Jaime Vandenberg
Jaime Vandenberg was supposed to represent Canada in Miss Earth 2018 held on 3rd November 2018 in the Philippines, but unfortunately withdrew her delegacy after she reported one of the sponsors of sexual harassment and breach of privacy and no strict actions were taken at the time. The harasser has since been banned from Miss Earth, but this action was taken only after the finale.
Miss International Canada 2018 Camila Gonzales
When Camila Gonzales was adjudged the 1st runner-up in Miss Universe Canada 2018, she was titled Miss International Canada 2018. As a result, she earned the right to represent Canada in Miss International 2018. Camila was a strong delegate for the crown due to her prior experience in the pageant world, and she performed really well, but unfortunately was unable to secure a position in the finale.
Miss Grand Canada 2018 Grace Diamani
Grace was appointed Miss Grand Canada 2018 replacing the originally crowned Veronica Rodriguez who withdrew due to personal reasons. Grace went on to represent Canada in Miss Grand International 2018 held on 25th October 2018 in Myanmar. Unfortunately, Grace was not able to secure a position in the finale.
Miss Supranational Canada 2018 Alyssa Boston
Alyssa Boston was crowned Miss Supranational Canada 2018 during the grand finale of Miss World Canada 2018 when she became the 1st runner-up to the winner. This earned her the right to represent Canada in Miss Supranational 2018 held on 7th December 2018 in Poland. She was a strong delegate as she was experienced in the pageant world, but unfortunately, Alyssa was not able to secure a position in the grand finale.
