Ceská Miss Essens organization is currently hosting the 2022 edition where twenty finalists have been selected to compete at the national competition. The pageant sends Czech Republic’s representatives to upcoming editions of Miss Universe, Miss Earth and Miss Global.

However, just hours ago, the organization took to their official social media as they announced Anežka Heralecká as the representative of Czech Republic at Miss Earth 2022. The appointment was made because the finale of the national pageant is scheduled to be held in December 2022 which overlaps the pageant dates of Miss Earth 2022.

Anežka Heralecká is 20 years of age and hails from Jihlava. Anežka will be using her voice to promote sustainability and helping the environment around her during her reign. On making it as Miss Earth Czech Republic 2022, Heralecka took to her official social media as she wrote, “I am Miss Earth Czech Republic 2022! I’m so grateful & honored for this opportunity. The Miss Earth is third largest pageant in the world and it is so much more! It connects everything that interests me in my life and what is important to me. I really appreciate the opportunity to stand next to the most beautiful women with the great voice and interest in changing the world for a better place, helping the planet and promoting sustainability. I can’t wait to see you all in the Philippines!”

The pageant this year is turning into a reality show; Wanted Miss is the name of the new show which will bring something that has never been here before. It will be a varied reality show with a total of eight episodes.

The last highest placement of Czech Republic at Miss Earth 2022 was in 2019 where Klára Vavrušková was adjudged Miss Earth-Water 2019. In 2021, Adéla Štroffeková represented Czech Republic at Miss Earth 2021 and placed in the Top 20 with her stellar performance.
