The Miss Earth 2016 annual international beauty pageant is about to culminate in to a beautiful coronation ceremony and all the delegates are giving each other tough competition. Through the journey at the pageant, the contestants experienced many wonderful and extra-ordinary things. The delegates from Denmark, USA, Peru, Myanmar, and Belize visited the island province of Guimaras in the Philippines and loved it.

The Guimaras Island is famous for agricultural crops, especially mangoes. It is known as the "Mango Capital of the Philippines" and also serves the White House and Buckingham Palace. The province also has palay, coconuts, vegetables, livestock, poultry and fish, with major income coming from tourism, coconut processing, fruit processing, handicrafts making, fish farming, mining, as well as lime production.

Five contestants of Miss Earth 2016, Miss Denmark Klaudia Parsberg, Miss USA Corrin Stellakis, Miss Peru Brunella Fossa Palma, Miss Myanmar Nan Khine Shwe Wahwin, and Miss Belize Chantae Chanice Guy, enjoyed the naturally rich surroundings and beautiful environment of the province.

The Miss Earth 2016 is the 16^th annual edition of the international beauty pageant. The pageant promotes healthier Mother Earth by encouraging the 5 Rs namely, Rethink, Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, & Respect. The delegates went to the Guimaras Island on their eco-tourism tour.

The countdown to the grand finale has begun. It is scheduled for October 29’ 2016 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Metro Manila in Philippines, where Miss Earth 2016 and Miss Air 2016 will be honoured with the coveted titles. Who do you think this year’s winners will be?
