With every passing day the Czech Miss 2017 pageant is nearing its finale. A total of 16 finalists are vying for the coveted title. From attending seminars and sessions with the former Ceska Miss, to competing at different Preliminary Rounds, the contestants are doing it all. During one such recent events, the girls posed for the shutterbug in their swimsuit.

The colour theme for the costumes was green and the backdrop was what looked like a cold snowfall area. The photoshoot is nothing short of excellence and has to be one of the most difficult photoshoots. The pictures were clicked by a renowned photographer of Czech Republic, Benedict Renc.

The photoshoot was conducted in a minus 7 degrees temperature. Yes, that’s right!! But can you tell it by the faces of the contestants? Well, no!! Czech Miss is the national pageant of Czech Republic. It was established in 2005. Until 2009, the pageant only selected representatives for Miss Universe, but in 2010 the franchise of Miss World was also awarded to Michaela Malácová. It was then, the two national pageants, Ceská Miss and Miss Ceské Republiky came together to select representatives of two big international pageants.

Czech Miss 2016 (or Ceská Miss) was held on April 2’ 2015. Andrea Bezdekova was crowned as Ceska Miss 2016 at the conclusion of the grand finale.
