The idea behind the collection was to keep it very pure and simpleto enhance the natural beauty of the young beautiful finalists. Petra who has put in a lot of hard work in designing the dresses expressed thatshe wished for the collection to be dominated by the color white as it signifies not just purity, clarity, innocence and also perfection in a way.
The collection is said to have a touch of summer and the orient. Petra’s desire was to keep the dresses light and gentle to suit the delicate bodies of the beauty queens so you will see an extensive amount of detailed handwork and also the usage of elements like natural silk, handmade lace, sequins and beads on the dresses.
When asked to describe the collection, Petra Pilarova said, “The intent of the entire collection was to create twelve beautiful goddesses from the girls in bright, pale nightclothes. White, among other things, means a new start as well as the newly elected Czech Miss 2017.”
