Dominika Szymanska was crowned as Miss Earth Poland 2017 during the finals held on Saturday, July 15 at La Playa, Warsaw. This 22-year-old law student from Bydgoszcz will represent her country at the 2017 Miss Earth finals to be held in the Philippines in November.
She speaks Polish, English and French. Szymanska is no stranger to pageants as she was the first runner-up in last year’s Miss Polonia (Miss Universe Poland) pageant.
Dominika is 22-year-old and stands tall at 1.77 m. She is passionate about criminology and wants to become an advocate in the future. Her elemental court included Milena Rokicka (Miss Air), LudwikaCichecka (Miss Water) and Paulina Zareba (Miss Fire).
The outgoing queen, Magdalena Kucharska passed the crown and her reign to her successor Dominika Szymanska. Magadelna signed off for the last time and congratulated Dominika wished her all the best for the future.
Poland has never won the coveted title of Miss Earth. Let’s see if this year could prove to be lucky for Poland or not.
The reigning titleholders dedicate their year to promote specific projects and often address issues concerning the environment and other global issues through school tours, tree planting activities, street campaigns, coastal clean ups, speaking engagements, shopping mall tours, media guesting, environmental fairs, storytelling programs to children, eco-fashion shows, and other environmental activities.
