Miss Earth Myanmar 2017 is on its verge of conclusion and is scheduled to be held on 24th June 2017. 26 gorgeous girls from all over Myanmar have been selected to compete for the coveted title this year, and the winner will represent Myanmar at Miss Earth 2017. The girls are busy participating and attending various events, and rehearsing for the finale event.
Amidst the various series of events, the contestants recently showcased their talent and innovation as they competed at the Eco fashion show. During the fashion show, the contestants had to design their own outfits from recycled products in the most creative way possible. The girls were judged on their creativity, the design of their outfits, and the material and resources used to make the outfits.
Apart from the Fashion Show, the girls are also busy with tree plantation activity which is part of their environmental activity. The planting activity was held in Ye Nwe Forest Reserve in Bago Yoma, wherein each girl planted trees to do their bit.
The reigning Miss Earth Katherine Espin, along with Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong and Miss Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell, will grace the finals of Miss Earth Myanmar 2017 as per the Facebook page. Nan Khine Shwe Wah Win, Miss Earth Myanmar 2016, will crown her successor at the finale night. The winner will then represent Myanmar at the Miss Earth beauty pageant.
