The finale of Miss Global Charity Queen 2017 was held on 23rd September 2017 at the Hotel Four Points by Sheraton in Penghu, Taiwan which had around 40 beauties from around the competing for the crown. And at the conclusion of the finale, Romanian beauty Elisabeta Eliza Ancau emerged as the winner and was crowned Miss Global Charity Queen 2017. The host country's representative Nian Yu-ling could not make it to Top 5 but won Miss Popularity award at the finale.
Eliza is 26 years old, has studied Communication and Public Relations at UBB Cluj and is a professional model. She is not new to the world of pageants. In 2015, she was crowned Miss Supranational Romania 2015 and represented Romania in Miss Supranational 2015.
Later in the year 2016, she represented Romania in Miss Global Beauty Queen 2017 held in South Korea. She was a whisker away from winning the crown which was won by Vietnamese beauty Nguyen Thi Ngoc Duyen, and Eliza finished at the second place.
This time, she finally managed to win an international beauty pageant title, and well deserved too!
