Miss Tourism Philippines 2017 pageant has successfully concluded, and now the country is eyeing the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 pageant, which is scheduled to be held on 4th August 2017. The contestants are moving towards the finale and working hard to mark their place at the finals. The organization is also introducing various events and activities for the contestants.
In a recently concluded evening gown competition, the girls walked the ramp donning gorgeous long gowns, and based on their performance the winners for the night were announced –

Best in Long Gown Mutya ng Tarlac - Sandrianne Esquilona (Designer: Rian Fernandez)
1st Runner-up is Mutya ng Navotas - Jannie Loudette Alipo-on (Designer: Jontie Martinez)
2nd Runner-up is Mutya ng Cebu - Ilene Astrid De Vera (Designer: Roy Erwin Tizon)
At the same pageant, the Top 3 best designers for the night were also announced -

The winner will be awarded during the coronation night on August 4, 7pm at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila.
In another event, the contestants competed at the regional costume competition. The event perfectly showed how world-class the talent of the Filipino designers is with the thirty candidates parading in attires that could only be described as inspiring and awe-inspiring.

Best in Regional Costume was awared to Crystal Alday of Camarines Sur. Alyssa Joreen Reyes of Lemery, Batangas was titled first Runner-Up, and Nicole Kristel Losloso of Southern Luzon was adjudged the second runner-up.
