The stunning Romanian beauty, Elisabeta Eliza Ancau was crowned Miss Global Charity Queen 2017 recently. The lovely queen, who works as a model at EuroModels agency, Romania is a graduate of the Babes-Bolyai University (Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences) in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This beauty deeply feels for the people with special needs, as she was born in in a family with deaf parents and she has been involved in social work and charity since a young age.
Miss Global Charity Queen 2017 is not her first attempt in the world of beauty pageants. Last year, she represented Romania in Miss Global Beauty Queen 2017 held in South Korea. She was a whisker away from winning the crown which was won by Vietnamese beauty Nguyen Thi Ngoc Duyen, and Eliza finished at the second place. Prior to that, she was also crowned Miss Supranational Romania 2015 and represented Romania in Miss Supranational 2015.
The beautiful Eliza shared her thoughts, experiences, and aspirations in the world of pageantry with Angelopedia in an interview. We would like to thank her for sparing time to talk to us and provide an insight into her veiled personality.
Below is her full interview -
Q. Congratulations on being crowned as Miss Global Charity Queen 2017. How does it feel after winning the title?
Thank you very much! My heart is filled with joy and gratitude. I ticked another step, other responsibilities and a new achievement. I can only be glad.
Q. The world celebrates you as Miss Global Charity Queen, but would you like to give us a glimpse of your veiled personality?
I am a simple person, modest, sensitive, independent and ambitious. I think I have a strong personality, so I get almost everything I want. I like to trust people, so I might be slightly naive.
Q. Would you like to share your experience in the beautiful Penghu, where Miss Global Charity Queen 2017 took place?
An unforgettable experience! The heat outside was blistering but everything else was extremely pleasant. Penghu is a beautiful island with delicious seafood and warm people. They have a very good Mayor that is dedicated to the locals and who gets involved in the development of the region.
Q. How do you plan to fulfil your responsibility as ambassador for 2018 Most Beautiful Bays World Congress?
This beauty contest has given me the opportunity to be present in a wonderful place like the Penghu Islands. My responsibility this year is to convey my experiences and my accumulated knowledge about this location. The technology of today is so advanced that we are able to provide a wide audience with accurate information and visual news about places, food, people and tourism.
Q. What are your career plans after winning the pageant?
After this win, I am following the same ideals of becoming a successful businesswoman. Last year we started a small family business and now we are expanding it and I hope it grows well.
Q. What was your motivation behind stepping into the world of beauty pageants?
Honestly, there was no a specific motivation. I entered this world in 2015, pushed by my manager. Only then I discovered that I have qualities for this and now I can say that this world does fascinate me.
Q. What do you think is the most important thing to win a beauty pageant?
To win, I think femininity, self-confidence, attitude, punctuality, seriousness and involvement are very important.
Q. What are you most passionate about in life?
Passions come in turn. Once I was passionate about playing basketball, now I am passionate about the beautiful, and for me the beautiful means art, the journey, the people and the divinity.
Q. Would you like to share some uniquely saccharine moments of your childhood with us?
My childhood was quite different. What I can tell you is that I was born in a family with hearing deficiencies, my parents are deaf and my past is full of beautiful though difficult experiences.
Q. What is your greatest strength in life?
To understand, listen and help as much as I can those in need. The important thing is to remain positive whatever happens, and life will give you a lot of energy.
Q. What according to you is the most amazing thing about Romania?
I can say a lot about my country. In brief, I can say that we have a delicious kitchen, beautiful landscapes, clean air, welcoming people and the mysterious air of Dracula’s lands.
Q. If you had to describe your “perfect man”, what traits of his personality would be written in bold?
The man who knows how to be a man, who can offer respect, devotion and understanding. If the man does not have fluctuations in character and can support me intellectually, I get to be more productive and loving.
Q. If not a beauty queen, what would you have aspired to be?
For me to be a beauty queen is a gift, not an aspiration. Every person has a title in life, even my mother who is simply a mother has a difficult title because today it is harder to keep a family together. In the future, I aspire to be a positive example for women.
Q. If there were no rules in your life for a day, what all would you do?
Believe me, there are days when I live by my own rules. There are those moments when I want to detach myself from what causes me negative states, those days when I play as the heart says. Sometimes, too much reasoning drains us.
Q. What suggestions would you like to give to aspiring beauty queens?
My suggestions are to be as normal as possible, to trust themselves and their own strengths, to smile as much as possible, to be positive in any situation, and to not copy the style of other women. Be yourself and nothing more!
Q. What message would you like to give to your fans on Angelopedia?
I thank Angelopedia fans for watching this platform, which wants to provide the audience not only with pictures of beautiful girls in beauty contests but also with facts about their lives. The interviews are written in detail in order to provide the public with more information about the contestants than any other Miss-related page.
We, on behalf of all the fans of Angelopedia, wish you good luck in achieving your dreams in life and hope that you will continue with your efforts to help the people with special needs.
Thank You, Eliza!
