Fay Teresa Valbekk has been chosen as the Miss World Norway 2015. She will now represent Norway at Miss World 2015 in Sanya, China on December 19’ 2015.
The 23-years-old previously competed at the Froken Norge 2011 beauty pageant, and emerged as the first runner-up during the pageant held on 27 August 2011 in Storefjell, Gol, Norway. Fay Teresa Valbekk was also a contestant at the Miss Universe Norway 2012 pageant.
The national beauty pageant of Norway was initially held in the year of 1950 which was organized by Dagbladet Magazine. There were no official Froken Norge or Miss Norway title holders from 1975-1982 during which Norwegian model agencies used to send delegates to the international pageants. Since 1983, the pageant has been run by the Frøken Norge Corporation. In 2000 - 2010, the contest was sponsored by TV2 Network.
The beauty queen hails from Oslo, Norway and she has done her schooling form Academy Secondary School.
