Femina Miss India 2015 Winners Heading To Sri Lanka

Enhancing the brand association with the Times of India Group further, the Femina Miss India 2015 titleholders will be hosted by Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts in July, as announced by the resort in a statement last week.  The leading hotel chain had been involved with the Times Group during previous Femina Miss India events as well. A pre-pageant tour and a vivacious fashion show featuring Miss India contestants, sashaying local designs, was hosted by Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts in Sri Lanka last year.

The upcoming visit will be high profile and fun-filled as the fbb Femina Miss India 2015 title holders will conduct their official photo-shoot with a Sri Lankan backdrop at a beach hotel of the Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts chain, culminating once again in a gala fashion show featuring the title holders,” the statement said.

Considering the successful partnership with Times group at the last year’s Miss India event, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts in Sri Lanka, generated over US$ 500,000 worth of media publicity, the renewed partnership this year, is expected to drive even bigger gains for the brand. The Times group will be extending media publicity to the resort, which will further heighten Sri Lanka as a tourism destination.

The collaboration of both the groups will not only benefit Sri Lanka from the tourism point of view, but the event will work as an exposure for the winners of Femina Miss India 2015 as well. The Head of Brand Marketing at Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts Dileep Mudadeniya when asked about the venture said, “Working with Times of India has opened up numerous opportunities not only to market our hotels but also our destination.
