Lalmuansangi Varte of Mizoram emerging as the front-runner of Femina Miss India 2020

Femina Miss India organization has unveiled the names of the thirty-one stunning ladies who will compete at the 2020 edition of the national pageant and win the chance to represent India at Miss World 2020. The 57th edition, for the first time in the pageant history, held its entire selection process digitally. Miss World Asia 2019 Suman Rao, Miss India Grand International 2019 Shivani Jadhav and Miss India United Continents 2019 Shreya Shanker will crown their successors.

Hailing from Champai district, Lalmuansangi Varte is one of the delegates selected who is representing the state of Mizoram at the competition and is emerging as one of the strongest contenders for the title. She is 25-years-old and stands 167 cm tall and has completed her Master’s degree in English literature and is currently a trainee teacher and pursing her degree in B.Ed at Mizoram University.

 

 

Lalmuansangi Varte was diagnosed with heart disease when she was 5-years-old and that condition led to her developing a learning disability; dyslexia but the diva never gave up on her dreams in fact, turned her disability into an opportunity to achieve her goals and dreams. The diva with her perseverance and support from loved ones fought for several years until she was able to overcome her disability. The strong diva had mentioned that she was highly inspired by one of her teachers who kept motivating and inspiring her to continue fighting.

The diva herself who is a trainee teacher wants to become teacher in order to help and be an inspiration for the people who face the same problems like she did. She is passionate about beauty pageant as she believes that pageants provide the platform where she can use her voice to reach out to a mass audience and create awareness about such problems in the community. She believes in education for all and in her introduction, video had mentioned that education is a must have privilege for every child in the country to have a vision and sense of understanding. She also mentioned that we all need a sense of kindness and humanity among us and if children are taught about these things at an early age, it becomes very fruitful for the country.

 

 

Lalmuansangi was adjudged as the second runner-up at Miss Mizoram 2020 and it was exceptional on her Femina Miss India 2020 audition and probably the only one from Mizoram. The diva recently shared that she has cleared her NTA UGC-NET which implies that she is now certified to become an Assistant Professor. After being named under top 31 candidates for Femina Miss India 2020, Lalmuansangi took to her social media to share the news and thanked everyone for their immense support and love. She mentioned. “This auspicious moment of my life would be meaningless without the unending support, time and effort provided by my family, friends, fellow contestant, teachers and all my supporters.”

The diva’s confidence and determination towards her goals and dreams is praised by all and this could make her one of the fan favourites at the competition. She is very grateful for the opportunities she has received till now which has helped her to grow and has assured that she will be keep fighting until she makes her country proud at international stage and becomes an inspiration to the young people who deal with problems like her.
