Sanjana is inspired by her grandmother as she explains that she is an example of a strong and independent woman. She further explained, “It takes a lot of courage and strength to raise a child without any support. She got married when she was 16, but unfortunately, she lost her husband and wasn’t qualified to get a job. However, she didn’t lose hope in life and gave birth to her child. She completed her board exams and enrolled herself in a nursing course while taking care of her son. I feel so proud and inspired by her story. It always gives me strength to work hard in life and to be patient. I want to make her proud and give her all the love and happiness.”

The diva represented her state at a shooting competition at “All India Thal Sainik Camp (NCC)” and has won the title of “Miss Iron Maiden” at Camus Princess 2016. She is very much interested in sports and would like to encourage more women to take up sports in the country and make the country proud.

Sanjana feels that self-love is very important because if one cannot love oneself, you can’t expect others to love you. She encourages people especially young women to stand on the ground, to face any ordeal and be oneself unapologetically. “Free spirit, to live your life your way”, is her motto. She also mentions that “Do not let your ideas and talent go waste due to lack of confidence. Someone not as talented as you will surpass you simply because they believe in themselves. Take risks and trust your gut feeling. Be crazy enough to think you can change the world. Also, to grow as a person, it is very important to be empathetic and compassionate.”

Sanjana Vij is confident and very focused towards her goal and if Femina Miss India organization decides to appoint her to represent India at Miss World 2020 stage, she can be a tough competition as she is experienced and determined. She is compassionate and positive towards her future and makes winning her the only goal. She wants to make her parents and the people of India proud.
