After the Vienna, Austria tour last year, the Miss Earth pageant is coming back home. This year the contestants will experience the pageant in the Philippines. The reigning queen Angelia Gabrena Ong of the Philippines will crown her successor at the end of the event.

So, all the fans who have been waiting with bated breath for an update on their favourite pageant, this might be something that you would be interested in knowing. Miss Earth is an annual Beauty Pageant which is aimed at promoting Environmental Awareness. Carousel Productions organized and launched the first Miss Earth beauty pageant in 2001 to actively promote the preservation of the environment.
