Looks like the social responsibility of the Miss Universe winners is ceaseless; even after the end of the reign, Miss Universe 2008 Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe 2009 Stefanía Fernández and Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler are working towards the humanitarian cause of curbing malnutrition among young children in Venezuela. 54% of children in Venezuela suffer from some degree of malnutrition and 5-6 children die of malnutrition every week.
The Healing Venezuela Movement is a campaign that takes donations starting at 30 USD; each donation can provide the equivalent of one month of infant formula to these malnutrition kids. The exclusive T-shirts for the campaign are designed by Ricardo Seco with ‘Healing’ printed on it.
Dayana Mendoza, Stefanía Fernández and Gabriela Isler posted on their official social media to promote the noble cause being the first ones to wear the special T-shirts. The campaign is a beautiful initiative of Aid for Aids, the largest medication recycling program in the world.
Let us take a look at what these gorgeous divas had to say about the noble campaign –
