Former Miss World Rolene Strauss has the best news to share with her fans and followers. The South African beauty proudly flaunted her baby bump on the Huisgenoot and YOU Magazine. Yes, Rolene is pregnant and is expecting her first child with husband D'Neil Strauss. "It's so perfect that our baby is coming between December and New Year - just after I've completed my fourth year and before I start my final one," she said speaking to YOU magazine.

Rumours of Rolene’s pregnancy started doing rounds on the internet when the beauty a snap of herself on Instagram in her medical uniform, which vaguely showed her bump. Rolene and D’Niel tied-the-knot on 6 February this year in a lavish ceremony held in the Winelands town of Somerset West.

Rolene did admit that the baby came a little earlier than they expected, though, but that they are nevertheless thrilled to start a family.

 "I'm not making it easy for myself to complete my studies but I definitely am going to finish them," she said. "I obviously wanted to finish my studies first and things have happened about a year earlier than expected but we feel unbelievably blessed and are very excited and grateful."

Rolene and her husband don’t know the gender of the baby yet, but they plan to find it out during their next check-up. "D'Niel wants a boy but I've always pictured myself as a little girl's mommy. But as long as our baby's healthy, we're happy," she said. Rolene also shared how happy the couple is about the news and couldn’t help but share her excitement as she was quoted as saying, "There's a piece of you and the person you love most in the world in the little person. You dream about and wonder whose nose the baby will have, whose personality - it's so wonderful. D'Niel hopes it has my nose."
