The 2019 UK Power Pageant is took place on 9th June 2019 at the Park Hall Hotel, Lancashire where UK’s representatives to Miss International and Miss Grand International were crowned. At the end of the coronation night, five crowns were handed over the crowns by their predecessors. Freya Taylor was crowned Miss Grand Scotland 2019 and became the official representative of Scotland in Miss Grand International 2019. Freya Taylor Miss Grand Scotland 2019 was crowned by her predecessor Miss Grand Scotland 2018 Olivia McPike.
The 27-year-old beauty has earlier also been a winner of Miss Greater Glasgow International 2019 and is a beauty with a purpose. From the very first time she got fame, she has been supporting different social causes like taking part in Race for Life to raise money for cancer and spreading awareness about Adenomyosis which is closely related to the excruciating disease that is Endometriosis. Freya currently works in hospitality and has earlier worked in different fields including marketing and dog grooming. She truly believes that that humility and approachability go an extremely long way.

An accomplished panel of jury resided to crown the queens which included Joanna Johnson Miss Galaxy, Anya Gould Miss Intercontinental England 2015, Beth Greenham Ms Galaxy (and former Miss International UK & Miss Grand England), Rebecca Mannion Miss Royale UK, Corinna Paterson Pageant Girl Events Executive, Daisy Whetlor Miss Scuba International and Amy Meisak Miss Universe Great Britain finalist and former Power Pageant queen.
Along with Freya, four other queens were crowned; Ashleigh Wild was crowned Miss Grand England 2019, Harriotte Lane was crowned Miss International UK 2019 , Miss Pageant Girl UK 2019 is Eden McAllister and Miss Grand Wales 2019 is Emma Davies.
Till now Scotland has not been able to find a spot in the top and is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Grand International beauty pageant.
