Sources have confirmed, along with Olivia McPike on her social media links that she has been crowned as Miss Grand Scotland 2018. Student of New College Lanarkshire Musical Theatre, Olivia was very excited and happy with her achievements and expressed her feelings to the public on social platforms with a long and emotional post.

She wrote on her facebook: I’m so unbelievably happy to announce that I am your new Miss Grand Scotland 2018/19. I have had the most incredible experience at the UK Power Pageant this weekend, it was truly an experience of a lifetime shared with the best people. I will now be travelling to Thailand in October to represent Scotland at the Miss Grand International Final!

I’d like to say a massive thank you to the judges, Holly Louise and the rest of the Pageant Girl team for choosing me to be your new Miss Grand Scotland 2018/19 - it honestly means the world! She will be on tour with two other girls Lauren Parkinson crowned as Miss Grand Wales and Christina Baker as Miss Grand England. All the three girls would be representing their respective regions at the Miss Grand International final which has previously been held in Thailand, Las Vegas, and Vietnam. They will tour and visit some of the most amazing parts of the country and compete for the title of Miss Grand International. 2016 was the first year that United Kingdom sent delegates to the international final and our Miss Grand Wales, Rachael Tate, placed in the Top 20 and Miss Grand England, Cherelle Patterson, won the Best in Evening Wear award.

Other winners of the UK Power Pageant Queens were Miss International UK 2018 Sharon Gaffka, Miss Intercontinental England 2018 Sarah Davies, Miss Intercontinental Scotland 2018 Laura MacMillan and Miss Intercontinental Wales 2018 Joey Staerkle.
