The magnificent finale of Miss Earth Mexico 2015 held on September 19’ 2015, concluded on a grand note with the crowning of Gladys Flores as the new Miss Earth Mexico. She will now represent Mexico at the Miss Earth 2015 pageant. She battled out 31 contestants to clinch the title of Miss Earth Mexico 2015.
Gladys was crowned by the outgoing queen, Yareli Carrilo Salas, Miss Earth Mexico 2014. The finale of Miss Earth Mexico 2015 was graced by the reigning Miss Earth Jamie Herrell. The pageant was established in the year 2002 and the director of the pageant is Paul Marsell. The first ever pageant however was held in the year 2007. Prior to 2007, winner was chosen by a private selection process. At the same event, Laura Mojica Romero from Oaxaca was crowned Miss Air, Martha Leticia from Veracruz was crowned Miss Water and Monica Fernanda from Yucatan was titled Miss Fire.
Mexico’s first ever placement at the Miss Earth was in the year 2008, when Abigail Elizalde Romo of Coahuila was placed as the second runner-up/ Miss Earth Water.
